Man, that hurts just to look at. Next time listen to that little voice that
says "This isn't such a good idea". I'm glad you are ok and the car is
fixable. As to that #*{>!~ Jetta, a 45 slug in the engine block would
suffice! Was she yackin' on a cell phone at the time? That's in the same
category as putting on makeup while driving. Where's a good fire ant hill
when you need one.

What  crummy luck.  More than likely the bozos that smacked into you
didn't hae a clue about the damage they did to such a primo classic.
 The good news...you didn't get hurt.  The roadster is damaged but at
least repairable.  Did you keep your cool?  The urge to grab a 12 gague
and administer some frontier justice would have been very strong indeed.
