I know that Stan sold a kit to drop the L16/18 engines in and that would be
a good way to go. There are many 'go fast' parts available and the parts are
pretty plentiful considering how many datsun cars used them. Probably it's
the simplest swap that can be done.
Since a lot of 510 guys are swapping in V6s you may even be able to p/u a
modified engine fairly cheaply.
Except for a slight modification of the front crossmember, that can be done
with a big hammer, no other mods should be necessary except for lengthening
some harness wires.
