I saw this and felt it needed some clarification. Mark Dubois: Supervising
Production Manager at the company that builds the interior kits has stated.
" No one, including General Motors, Nissan, Toyota, etc.etc., in all the
years of our business, have ever been granted exclusive rights to our product
whether they have helped develop it or not. They are made aware of this. Those
that have insisted are asked to develop their aftermarket product elsewhere."
He states further " Everyone involved in our product manufacturing process,
design and /or distribution and wide spread promotion or by complimentary gift,
in their own way, has contributed to a better product".
Mark is so democratic. This is why I love America. Everyone can contribute
to the greater good!
Anyone who may have doubts about the validity of these statements can
contact me and I will be more than happy to set up a three way call with Mark
Dubois.
     Thank you for listening.

It is said that CDM developed the patterns and supplied
the samples for the kits that come from California. Others found the
manufacturer but didn't do the work to make them a reality.

You can just about get an interior from any of the vendors certainly, Looks
like right now www.datsunparts.com has a great sale on a complete set. I
purchased mine from there years ago and the fit was perfect, quality is
excellent. The bonus is that it comes with the clips, I am not sure if you
get that with the other kits, would be nice to know. Having an upholstery
shop do it is the expensive way to go. You might also be able to get a kit
from Ross in Washington, Carl in Canada Mike Young in San Francisco, Stan
Chernoff in Torrance, CA and Don Morrell back east. There are many options
out there, always nice to know where the vendors are at. Either way once you
are done, it makes a tremendous difference in the appearance of your car.
Good luck,
Gerardo
Kudos, to all those who helped get us the kits we use to keep our cars a nice
as they are. It doesnt matter at all who you are getting your kits from as
long as it is at a price you are happy, and the same quality to match, thank
you
to everyone who supplies us!!
