In South Africa, where violent crime has reached epidemic proportions,
carjacking has reached the point where they are now selling flame throwers for
cars.
Basically, a pipe with jets/nozzles runs around the car. An igniter in the
car shoots flame about 4 feet. The ad indicates that it will not kill, but will
probably blind. The ad includes an endorsement from the Chief of Police.
