I used to tow my TR-4 on a dual axle trailer behind a 1988 Nissan
4X4 with the V-6 and a 5 speed. When I lived in the Midwest (aka
the "great flat spot"), it worked out OK. Make sure that the trailer
brakes work, though and watch your tongue weight. Out here where there
are hills, it did not work out at all, and I ended up buying a P/U with
a V-8.
