If you haven't crashed once in a while you have not been racing
long...'cause it;'s gonna happen.

I was with Newman for several years during my days with Nissan and he is
not only a sharp, fun, nice man but a damn good driver. The only problem
was as a great actor he was accustomed to taking direction and everyone
around him wanted to be the hero and give direction...most was wrong. Get
him away from the mob and settle down to thinking about the track and he
could and did turn in some great races and really fast times. But a good guy
and as I say very nice man. He has one funny quirk though, an unusual love
of Chinese food. Want to find Paul at the racetrack go find the best Chinese
restaurant at about 6:30pm and he'll be there.
He once came to the track at Limerock with a birthday cake for me in his
car trunk and a surprise to everyone..
