Reality check.  We are probably an anachronism. IF BMW was to build a open 
British '60's sport car retro to ship here, Triumph is a long way behind MG, 
just due to name recognition alone. How many time has someone come to you and 
ask 
you about your MG?   If one was to think about body styles to "update", the 
MGB has many more possibilities.  TR-3, as previously mentioned, has cut down 
doors vs roll up windows problem.  TR-4 and TR-6 may be too boxy to adapt to 
modern bumpers and styling.  Spits are very pretty but may loose attractivness 
when enlarged to a more modern/acceptable size.  However their body style has 
more possibilities than the big TRs.

A fun discussion anyway so let it roll.
