Gary, here is my car up on a stand I made myself from two engine stands,  
some plates, my welder and some square stock.   This is the only way  to go to 
really get to all parts of your frame.  This makes working on the  underside of 
your frame pleasent!
 
I would highly reccomend one!   Make your own or they are  commercially 
available.
