I would highly, HIGHLY reccommend downloading a free program called Picasa:

http://picasa.google.com/index.html

This program has a very nice elegant interface between thumbnails to
full size picture, and will automatically find all the pictures on
your hard drive. It should make searching through your archive a
pleasure. With the thumbnails all in easy & quick view, you probably
won't need to organize your picture much more than you already have,
because you will see it all in front of you.

I would organize them first into folders according to the area of the
car as you already have before installing picasa.

Picasa is a really nice program and it also has a very cool email
picture feature.

Best Regards,

Alan
