I towed my BN6 from Las Vegas, NV to Aberdeen, NJ - a 2,500 or so trip over
5 days using a 2 wheel dolly. You must tow with the front wheels attached to
the dolly or else you will have it fishtail dramatically unless you lash the
steering wheel. Given that your lashing may come loose, it is best to tow
with the rear wheels on the ground. Put the gear shift in neutral and just
be aware that there will be little clearance for the rear of the exhaust
system so I would be careful of bumps. Mine came off after 90 miles but it
was loose anyway and I should have tightened it up. Since you are only going
60 miles or so, you will not have to disconnect the drive shaft or anything.

Finally, the painting on my BN7 should be completed next week. It's been a
long 4 months at the paint and body shop. My question for the list: Has
anyone had any experience using a two wheeled dolly to tow a BN7? I will
be picking my car up from the painter and I need to get it home (about 60
miles). I paid to have it taken in on a full trailer but I was wondering if
a two wheel dolly I could rent would give me enough ground clearance with
the front or rear up on the dolly?
