Hi Ron:

Check out the Mt. Washington Hotel in NH, or perhaps The Balsams, also in 
the White Mountains. There are some good B&Bs in Jackson, NH, too. Lots of 
fine views, easy or difficult hikes to summits or many, many waterfalls. 
Expect warm days and cool (blankets usually needed) nights.
