Hello Andy,

I have just replaced my Michelin ZX 175R15 tires on my Healey. The tires
were just over 5 years old,and I decided to replace them. I went to Hendrix
Wire Wheels,
and discussed what type and brand of tire that was available. Allen
recommended
Gillett Widetrack Radials. They are 165R15 86 with a speed rating of "T" and
treadwear of 280
(both are rated higher than the ZX). But best of all they are half the cost
of the ZX.
As far as the height of the tires, Allen placed both side by side and I
was unable to observe any difference in height.

I have put on about 500 miles on various types of roads, from country
winding to 80 mph on the interstate and have no regrets.
The tires and Healey preformed excellent in all conditions.

I was also impressed on the mounting process that Hendrix Wire Wheel uses
when installing the tires. It is a time consuming process from "prepping the
new tires " to "shaving"
and "true" the wheels.

Hendrix WW are true professionals, the time and attention to detail are
unequaled. I wouldn't go anyplace else.
