Len, in my experience ALL cars have this second black hole!

Speaking of carburettor nuts. In addition to the black hole in the frame
(which is now plugged with a piece of foam rubber), there is another black
hole of unknown location. I have dropped at least three carburettor nuts
over the years which I have never found. I hear them drop and it sounds
like they are hitting metal and/or the ground but I can never find them.
They are not in the frame black hole, not resting on the frame, not behind
the engine mount, not on the ground, nowhere to be found. Oooo-eeee-oooo!
The wrench I have found to be useful on some of these nuts is a curved
(semi circular) gear wrench. You do not have to get your hand in as far as
with a straight wrench.
