No the grill stays in place and even the radiator can as well. Instead, und=
o the mounting=C2=A0bolts on ONE SIDE of the radiator and pull that side ba=
ck enough to squeeze your hands in and access the fan bolts first and then =
the pump. I=E2=80=99ve found pulling off the fan before removing the pump i=
s far easier (and probably essential). Done this many times; slightly=C2=A0=
easier on a Six than a Four cylinder Healey, but not awful in either case. =
BTW, this is a good time to put in=C2=A0an uprated pump rather than a Chine=
se special =E2=80=A6
