One the guys' water pump failed during a Conclave or Spring Thing trip,=20
and Tom Mitchell changed it on the side of the road. The grill was=20
definitely undisturbed, but I don't recall whether we wound up pulling=20
or working around the radiator. When I have tried to work on water=20
pumps with the radiator in place, I have always wound up cutting my=20
knuckles on the fins, and also having to straighten out fins, too....=20
Just saying.
Tom just left California Healey Week, and may or may not be able to=20
comment.
BTW, CHW is a great get together!! We had 50 Healeys or more, and=20
probably over 100 participants in Yosemite National Park.
