At the risk of starting something that will take up bandwidth...

I, too, use Eudora Light. I have settings configured to "word wrap" which
stops the chopped up lines. I also have my line length set to "80" and my
font to "Arial". 

The word-wrap setting is the most important. Every reader (Pegasus,
Netscape, AOL, etc.) should have this option, you just have to look for it.
