       I made a personal reply on the adapter fittings and did not post it to
the list.  When adapting pvc to an air or water system , only PVC MALE
adapters should should be used.  If metal male adapters are screwed into
female plastic threads they tend to expand to the point of cracking.    My
six cents worth.

ps It was suggested by CJonhson to maybe use schedule 80 or higher pvc, If
you go this route then you are approaching or exceeding the price of copper
pipe.  There is also a temperature rating that goes with the psi on pvc pipe.
