About ten when my father showed me the brand new "B" in a showroom - he
told me it wasnt a "proper" MG like a J2 ot a TC but "wasnt bad"
Pictures on the bedroom walls for the next nine years!
Owned my first (crash-damaged 69 BGT) at 19
my second (71 BGT) at 20
my third (74 BGT brand new) at 22 (it cost a whole years salary at the
time and took a second job and 3 years to pay off!)

A n intervening period of globe trotting/emigrating/marriage/procreation
without ownership ensued but the ember burned, many thoughts like "one of
these days......."

By the way - my brain is still 19 tho some of the other bits havn't fared
as well - sorta like my 72, from 50 yds its a 90 pointer, 20 yards about
70 five yards - 50 if you take your glasses off and up close "what a
great interior!"

Enjoy it all lads! and if they can't take a
joke............................
