Chris,

The master cylinder will be bleed when you do the rest of the system. 

Since this is your first time to do this, I suggest you get an experienced
friend to help. You will need someone to pump the peddle as you loosen the
bleeders. I would use DOT 4 brake fluid unless you have some extraordinary
reason to go to one of the exotic silicones. This would require cleaning of
the whole system, though. DOT 4 is a little kinder to the brake system soft
parts than the standard DOT 3, but requires no cleaning. You can use DOT 4 in
your clutch too and you can find it in most auto part stores. HI-LO has it,
Chief does not.

Bleeding the brakes (or clutch) is relatively simple but can be frustrating
if you aren't experienced. If you'd like to talk about this, my number is
