I've had an ANSA exhaust on my 69 Beater since 1989 and it's still hanging in 
there and sounding great.  I have no hesitation in recommending it.

Thanks for the advice, and good point.
I'm thinking I'll go with the ANSA instead to save on the adaptor headaches.
It will be a long time, if ever, before I soup the car up to the point where
it will get any benefit from the 2" exhaust anyway, AND I've noticed Twist's
recommendation that the ANSAs give good service. I just want a reliable,
performance enhancing (if possible), good sounding exhaust. (the chrome tips
are nifty as a bonus too, I suppose)
