Be careful for what you ask for. I have work in several different jobs
where tips was part of the salary. Let me tell you some people are cheap
and extremely demanding. I can tell you this about being tipped. It
always
seemed that poorer people tipped better than people with money. Some
people
will not tip no matter what the level of service. All of this leads to
frustration.

Two stories. 1) As a kid I had several paper routes and the routes in the
poor
neighborhoods were always more profitable then the ones in the middle class
or
upper middle-class neighborhoods. You may have to wait several weeks for
the people
to pay you, but they tipped better.

2) Many years ago while delivering pizza, you learned who would tip and
who did not.
There was one house that never tipped and always gave the driver a hard
time. One
day they were 3 cents short for the purchase price of the pie. I refused
to give it
to them. Made me and the other drivers feel good. Of course the owner
made be go back
and give them the pie even though they were 3 cents short. I was a hero
for the day
among the other drivers.

My feeling is depending upon tips leads to frustration. I will always tip
or over tip
because I know what it is like. I feel everyone should have to work to
tips at least once.
The world would be a better place because of that. IMHO.
