Absolutely right!!  If you want "the red", go to your nearest paint emporium (My
favorite is PPG) and ask for base red.   This IS the stuff that all reds start
from--before they add the other stuff.  This is not cherry, fire engine, barn,
apple, or any of the others.  This is red.  No fillers, calories,
substitutes--just red.  This sounds a lot like what Larry Hoy suggested only he
went to a lot of work.
