Correct me if I'm wrong, and I don't have any Midget literature to refer 
to, but my impression was that the pre-smog, twin SU, 1275 Midgets were 
more powerful than the later 1500s. Or perhaps just faster due to lighter 
weight (not being burdened with rubber bumpers). But my R&T road test 
collection definitely indicates a downward spiral in performance (for 
B's, too, of course).
