I seem to recall that the hot wire for the overdrive is not fused.  One of
the pieces of advice that I was given when I put my overdrive in was to put
an in-line fuse in the wire that feeds the overdrive circuit.  Just in case,
that way you could possible avoid a meltdown in the overdrive solenoid area
in the event of a short.  (the wiring to the solenoid is located in a spot
that could be subject to hits and bruises from underneath).
