Wrong. It's taxation. That's all. It has NOTHING
whatsoever to do with safety, it has NOTHING
whatsoever to do with enforcing realistic laws, and
studies show that it has no positive effect whatsover
on accident prevention or compliance. In fact, the
same studies show that ever-shortening yellow light
times actually INCREASE accidents at intersections.
The cameras are a revenue center, that's all.
