That was a totally irrelevant comment -- the red light cameras at least only
take your photo if there is prima facie evidence of a violation.
Look, I was unaware of all these revenue generating scams in other areas --
I was talking about my local situation, where there clearly was a problem
with deliberate and flagrant red light running, resulting in numerous
horrendous crashes and deaths, at particular intersections, at which the
highly-publicized presence of red light cameras has definitely improved
safety.
So don't go painting me as an enemy of civil liberties... good grief.
