My guess is that they are selling the entire shebang, with thier coverage areas
and such. Cingulair does not operate in Northern New England but ATT is big and
reliable here (GSM is just catching on however in the sticks here). I am
assuming that it will mean a combination of the capability (assuming cutback
where they over lap.) I figure if you get ok coverage now it will probably only
get better. Of course I am using common sense and we are talking about US
business pracitces which only cares about the CEO next payoff.

I just got word that AT&T will be selling its wireless division, sounds like
it will be to Cingular. Does anyone have any experience, good or bad, with
their GSM network. I'm especially interested in coverage since cross country
travel is a regular occurrence for myself and my dad especially. We want to
find coverage that is as complete as AT&Ts TDMA network. I know TDMA is a
dead duck, but we only want to change carriers once.
