I probably should have posted these earlier.

Here is what I have to move

I also made plans for a body shell dolly some time ago

And when the car was sent to the paint stripper for an alkaline bath

, it weight in at a 367 lbs. I normally lift it with a helper, but it is in
the middle of having the sills replaced and it is not as structurally sounds
as when I moved it before. Sadly, the black Jeep in the pictures is no
longer with me, or I would not be in this situation. Another thought would
be to rent an engine lift to put it up into the back of the box. So many
different ways to skin this cat.

Oh, hey that's a thought...can you rent a big enough box truck to get the
body and dolly into? The problem will be getting it in and out. How much
does the body shell weigh? Just make sure to strap it down inside the
truck. Nothing ruins your car faster than having it roll around in the
truck as your driving around!

Thanks for the advice. I did forget to mention that it is already on a body
shell dolly. And I intend to keep the shell on the dolly during the move.
The towers I talked to will not even consider a shell secured to a dolly.
Liability reasons. I may just need to reserve a larger moving van and lift
the body and dolly into the back with a few friends' help. I just wanted to
make sure I had not missed anything while trying to figure this out.

Thanks again,

I agree, some simple dolly arrangement should allow a flat bed to pull the
shell up without damage.

BTW - How do you move it around now?

Good luck!
