Greetings to all other grease writers . . .

Here's a little tip for you guys who want to ditch the editor job. I
used to be a member of a multi-marque club. Members would never send in
any articles, so I always wrote what I am most comfortable with when I
needed fill articles . . . TR6s. I would also do articles on past and
future events. After a while people started complaining that the
newsletter was a TR6 newsletter . . . but they still would not send in
articles on their marque. In fact the club began to drop driving events
and become more of a social club than a car club. At that point I began
writing articles attacking the people in charge, demanding that we turn
back into a car club with driving and tech events. I questioned the
membership if they are so interested in not reading about TR6s all the
time why not send in articles on their favorite marque? It really got
the club hopping. Everyone couldn't wait each month for the newsletter
to come out. Anyway to make a long story short . . . the next election
the major clique in the club found a new newsletter editor to get me off
their back. Turned the newsletter into a social report. Since that day
the TR6 members took a powder and we are now a TR6 club with a pretty
good TR6 newsletter . . .
