Okay, I can't resist adding my Craftsman stories.
Burned the tip off a phillips screwdriver changing a light switch. (I
know...you are supposed to pull the fuse, but that was all the way down in
the basement.) Replaced for free.
Used my woodworking bench vise to straighten the bumper from my VW Bus.
OOPS! Replaced for free. (But it got the bumper fixed.)
Had a friend who used a 3/8" bar-type torque wrench as a breaker bar. Bent
it way out of adjustment. Replaced for free.
BTW, be aware that the click-type Microadjust torque wrenches from Craftsman
only have a 1 year warranty. Only the bar-type have the lifetime warranty.
I'll stick with craftsman for the tools I use a lot.
