Gee Craig,

Did you ever get to the bottom of your Carb problem?

If not let us know.

++++++++++

My 2 cents Re Spitfire Support, my wife Pat is VERY into the car hobby
too. She has helped me with repairs (a model of patience, that woman) and
has driven the Spit to work during British Car Week (I can't, I have to
drive a company van). When I announce a parts purchase, she buys some new
clothes!   (Only fair, right?)

Our 'family helpers' include four cats that love to play with the hardware
and tools, and redistribute them in random order and inaccessable places.
They also help by rolling in spilled fluids, and effectively mopping them
up! Quality control is a priority with these critters, as they climb over
the project at hand to verify that the work has been done properly.
Wish I could teach one of them to pump the pedal when the brakes need a
bleed.   <sigh>
