Can you give a product number for the versions you describe? I have an AMCO
luggage rack on my 62 TR4 that I bought from a dealer in about 67. This one
and the others I since purchased have flat bars. VB and others carry one
that looks the same. I talked to one dealer about this rack (at the time VB
told me despite the pictures in their catalogue, they no longer offered it)
and they told me that the rack was similar, but that the holes would likely
not be the same spacing. I purchased one for my 67 TR4A and discovered the
rack to be identical except for the AMCO decal on the original!. I have
since put one on my Spit as well. I can take measurements if you are
talking the same rack, but that really isn't necessary...centre it left to
right....try to find as flat a mounting as possible forward and back but
ensure there is nothing on the underside of the trunk to foul the bolts
coming trough. ISTR having to be careful of part of the structure on the
4/4A but cannot recall if this was a problem on the Spit.

If you really need it, I can send dimensions and a JPEG if we are talking
the same rack.
Cheers
Keith
