it's even simpler than that! It's the cheap ass crap
far east rubber their making everything out of these days.
(our LBC parts AND other classic cars as well
even the Camaro and corvette people are complaining
about the same thing.)

A lot of the radiator hoses you'll get now (from the catalog
companies) don't even have cord in them. They're just rubber tubing.
Window seals, corner blocks, door handle seals, all
deteriorate in under two years.  

Talk about guaranteeing a resale!  I'd rather pay twice as much
for something I know I won't have to replace next year.

I couldn't answer your question about the suppliers of the rebuild kit 
components.  I've seen them come from all over the world.  Even the ones that 
Say Gurling on them.  

Regardless of that, if you're rebuilding your master cylinder every year, 
you've got some other problem.  From using an incompatable brake fluid, to bore 
damage that is tearing up the new seals.  You should not need to rebuild that 
frequently at all.

I called Nigel @ SpitBits.
He got me one for somewhere around $30.00.
Does he use a different vendor than Vicky Brit ?
