Sorry Chuck , like I said I'm not very familiar with US spec Spitfires nor
with Mk 3 or later versions . I tend to stick with Mk 1's and 2's .:-)
Don't have my Spitfire & GT 6 Guide to Originality here at work , but IMHO
it should produce some answers .

A 70 is different than most MK3's, special in many weird ways, the lights
are supposed to be there, and the backup light is integrated into the
licence plate holder. The only thing I havn't been able to find out is if
the inner set are just for show or not.
