Sorry about reviving a dead horse ... I did look through the archives,
and yet I still longed for that "definitive answer" that had to be
lurking out there somewhere. <g>
Is there any chance that there is a 'fitness' difference in particular
years' Spitfire models ... or something?
I'll talk some more with my mechanic (who will actually be doing the
installation) ... he didn't specify a brand to get or avoid. I will also
review the archives again, with greater thoroughness.
