Um, no. Eudora is very irritating in and of itself and doesn't have
many of the features Netscape mail has. This is, of course, MOHO. I
use Netscape Communicator 4.04, and the mail program is much better than
anything else I have seen. I wouldn't call Eudora a standard unless you
happen to work for a company that bought a big license, in which case
it'd be a standard for you but not for everyone else.
> For example, what the heck is this vcard.vcf attachment stuff
Netscape allows you to attach a graphical ".sig" file to the end of your
mail instead of or in addition to a text one. It's one of those little
whistles you can turn on, I haven't done it myself. The purpose is to
encourage people to use Netscape for both their web browsing and web
surfing needs. For those of us lucky enough to have a 24-hour direct
connection to the net, you'd be nuts not to use Netscape for everything,
because it uses less resources on your machine and there is no problem
incorporating graphics, text, and web material in between applications

Hate to be the one to say it, but there is no such thing anymore as a
standard email program. I remember the days where there wasn't such a
thing as a "web" and most everyone used Berkely mail from a vt330
terminal emulator on a 1200bps dialup. Back then, people used elm or
mail. Nowadays there's Eudora, Netscape, and who knows what else.

I would hardly classify netscape as a "program few of us have."

I was just about to encode a 3.4MB .wav file of my Midget engine
running, but I guess I'll delete that. *click*
