Stan,
I am with State Farm too. The problem is not that they won't insure a
Sprite, it is that they go by appraisal only. I had mine appraised at
$4200 by the local MG club but I would like a higher sum in case of theft.
Any ideas where I might get a higher appraisal? I have much more into it,
but I also realize that they insure "replacement value" and not the sum I
invested.
