$5000 is too steep..Offer a lot less and let him fight it back up. Apparently
prices vary a lot regionally. I have found many MGs for 1500 to 3500 around 
here.
All drivers is reasonable shape. Mostly good maintained but will need some 
rubber
refurbishing.
I drove "Cosmo" my 60 bugeye, the day I bought her. He sat 1 year with minimal
driving due to a faulty distributor cap. No dings, no dents, perfect 
interior,all
the windows,top, and tonneau. Paid $800 for him. I have plans for all the rubber
parts and have rebuilt the brakes and carbs. Flushed everything of course. I
don't expect to find another deal like this but I have seen many good deals
lately and you car doesn't sound like one of them.
