I back up frequently, and I now use only CDs, both R and RW, depending on
the purpose. We have PCs and Macs at work, and I can vouch Macs are not
without problems. Stay away from the new G5, rumored to be still very
"buggy".

Main advantage of the Apple computers is that due to their low market
penetration, there are very few virus attacks on Apple machines- that counts
for something! Some prefer Apple over PCs, especially for animation and
graphics, but the majority of computer users at work use PCs.

I use both a Powerbook (with OSX) and a Dell laptop (with Windows 2000). I
don't care what machine I use, as they both do the jobs I require of them,
and I have the same programs on both.
