Blame it on Customs ... US Customs doesn't process any faster for stuff
headed south than Canadian Customs does for stuff coming in my direction.
It's especially bad if it doesn't travel by post, at least coming into
Canada. (Canada Post will process anything with a value less than ~$15US
with no brokerage fee and no provincial sales taxes, which moves the package
along much more quickly. No such luck with the courier companies.)
