Hey! Metallic sodium and water was the ONLY experiment that 
worked in my entire year of highschool chemistry. And that only 
worked because a couple of us enveigled the teacher out into the 
hall while the rest of us did it right. I still don't know why our school 
had half a dozen mason jars of bars of metallic sodium in some
kind of oil...
