I found that Dupont Whimbledon white (aka 63 Ford Falcon) was as close a
match as any fleet color could be.
If fact, with all the other OEW Bugeyes at LotO, I almost got in a
couple of wrong cars instead of my 58.
They all looked the same. One OEW Bugeye at the meet was much more of a
cream color compared to most.
Now let's get real, unless you park next to an old english white bugeye,
new from the dealer and that never saw the sun, who's going to know the
difference?

As for the rebar inside the wheel lips, this will fix any flex or
cracked apex of the wheel opening which seems to happen to most Bugeyes
after about 35 yeas of metal fatigue. Just weld in some 1/4" rod around
the inside of the wheel opening but do make sure the cheeks are pulled
forward and the fender lines up with the rocker before you weld. Many
Bugeyes with fenders that stick out past the rockers would benefit from
these rods.Bulging wheel openings are cured too as are some front line
up with the locating peg problems too.
