Thanks for the flowers.

I didn't know you had replaced the fast idle linkage.  I thought that required
removing the butterfly plates and rod, and I didn't want to get into that (or
maybe that was to retain the 'flipper' for the bowl vent.) Good description, and
parts list, for the tuning mods.

My 1848-1 came from Holley with a hot-air choke (like the two barrel) but I've
turned it so it never really operates anyway.  No need in this climate.

You should mention the need for the longer throttle cable from Sunbeam
Specialties, to avoid breaking the original length one, and the easy build of a
cable end holder to fit under the rear-most carb nut. these are necessary 
because
the 4 barrel throttle arm location is further forward, and with the F4B, higher,
and even further  up.
