Don't see why not -- up to 5-7 years with no cracking around the 
stem...

but watch out for this....

Many new tires nowadays now have a small (postage stamp size) cast in 
tag inside that will FLATTEN most tubes after a few or a few hundred 
miles ... a friend of mine with a Fiat Dino went nuts with this a few 
months ago.. (of course, there are those who suggested he was nuts 
already... we wound up grinding the tags out ... funny thing was the 
tags weren't in ALL the tires...evidently it's something being phased 
in... they were Pirelli 4000 Super Touring's. The tire shop (Radial 
Tire in Silver Spring, MD- good folks) said they had found others, 
too...
