Butch:

     If you will examine the front edge of your top, you should find that the
material is folded over and sewn to form  a pocket; this pocket is supposed to
hold two thin metal blades that are inserted into the pocket from both the
right and left.  After this is accomplished, folds the flap under and inser
the front end under the windscreen 
moulding in the space provided between the frame and aluminum trim.

     Hope this is an adequate explanation....
