ned;
        the dot 5 won't cause the siezing. it might cause the rubber seals/hoses
to swell, shuting off the release of presure in the calipers , which THEN
cause the brakes to overheat/sieze. if this is the case, then you have
much larger problems than just replacing the fluid. i am convinced the
brand of dot 5 the p.o. of my car used caused this prob in my car
nessesitating replacement of EVERY rubber peice in the brakes. Ed wood and
a referance in the VTR indicated that not all dot5 is a problem, and Ed
reports good experiences over long periods of use. thing is , are the
brakes brand sensitive? and unless you know for sure ....
also, has anyone e mailed girling to ask?

a GT LMA believer
"praise the carbon tech pads and pass the rubber grease!" (overheard at SIR
vintage races recently --no seriously - would i lie without a profit
motive?)
