If you're going in a group - share out the items to lessen the duplication
and maximize the protection. After all, what are the odds of more than one
condenser failure? Hmm, let me re-think that previous statement....

FWIW -- The parts I carry are: points, condensor, coil, dizzy cap,
one
sparkplug, one sparkplug wire that's as long as the longest on the
engine, spare hoses, fan belt, and a fuse.

In addition to the usual assortment of tools I have wire,
multimeter,
duct tape, electrical tape, baling wire, hose clamps, tube of
permatex,
fresh can of brake fluid, quart of oil, tailight bulb, wheel chock,
a
plastic quart bottle (filled with water could be used for gas), a
few
pieces of coathanger wire and 2 lengths of wire with alligator clips
on
        each end.

Specific to the TR3A: a stubby flathead screwdriver for accelerator
        linkage.

Of course I go nowhere without a fire extinguisher and a fire
blanket.

That may sound like a lot but takes very little space, particularly
if
you get creative in how you package and store specific to your model
of
        car.

BTW -- I'll be interested in other's replies but wonder what strange
things are being carried? e.g. I always have a few British items
along
as a sort of talisman (AA guide from the 50s, can of Travelling
Sweets,
map of the UK, a lighting-up table...)
