Well Hell! I was just out toolin' around yesterday in the TR with the top
down! Sun was out, and even though the temp was just a little over 45 or
so, I said, "What the Heck!" and dropped the top.

Here in the middle of Oregon, at 3600 ft elevation, we don't have any snow.
'Course, if you get up to the mountains nearby, you'll find a record
snowpack that'll no doubt keep the ski resorts busy 'til July. Either
that or it'll all melt at once and cause major flooding! Either one's
possible! I understand that the snowpack is nearly DOUBLE the average.

Just wondering what the temperature threshold is for you roadster drivers
out there... What's the coldest it can be for top-down driving at
around-town speeds? Or, how WARM does it have to be before you'll drop the
top. All of this, naturally, assumes sunny conditions. For myself it
seems to be right about 45 or so. Maybe a little less. Any colder and my
top goes back up.

(Of course, those numbers change dramatically when my wife rides along!!)

Incidentally, today looks pretty YUCK out there. Overcast, gloomy. Better
go put it back up!
