Jim,

Fred Thomas (aka vafred) pointed out that my graphic may not be very
clear. The seal want to point straight down or a little to the back
of the windshield BEFORE the w/s is placed on the car. The seal definitly
points to the FRONT of the car once the w/s is installed. The thing
with installing it the correct way is that it will put more pressure
down on the scuttle if it has to roll from pointing back a bit to pointing
forward. I sure hope I've got this right and will bow to the wisdom of
the list if I don't. When I installed the seal on my car I didn't slide
it in from one end to the other. What I did was to start in the middle
of the frame, put one side of the short leg into the slot and then
press the other end into the other side of slot with a wide screwdriver
blade. Slow but seemed to work for me.
