Speaking of check straps, is it common for them to "pop" very loudly upon closing the door? I replaced the failing originals with TRF replacement parts when I had the body work done. When the door is starting to close, as soon as the "fingers" come off the horizontal loop, it pops, extremely loud. Sure gets attention, too. Does this occur with other's doors?
